Artisan Cladding Systems Ltd started out as local builders in the Manawatu and have diversified into a specialised sheet cladding company over the past 18 years. We are a close-knit team that undertakes the supply, fabrication and installation of aluminium, composite, laminate and fibre cement cladding systems. We are based in Palmerston North but work on Commercial, Industrial and Residential projects on sites throughout New Zealand from Whangarei to Invercargill.

Purpose of the role:

To carry out CNC operation, cladding manufacturing and installation safely, efficiently and to a high standard

Key responsibilities of the role include:

1. Manufacture and fabricate in company factory

2. Installation on site

3. Joint sealing on site

4. General factory duties including material handling and factory maintenance

5. Operate and maintain machinery safely and efficiently

6. Observe and practice Health and Safety

7. Complete all necessary paperwork including timesheets and report to Office Manager

The skills and attributes required to be a success in this role include:

1. High attention to detail

2. Good communication skills

3. Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team

4. Ability to work under pressure and under time constraints

5. Reliability, integrity and initative

Benefits provided:

1. Wage – $25-$30 per hour

3. Relevant site licenses provided eg EWP, Forklift, Site Safe, first aid certificate etc

4. Opportunity for travel throughout NZ

Hours: 7.30 - 5pm on a ‘normal’ non travel day. There will be regular travel in this role whether that be onsite locally and afield within New Zealand. Some weeks will require more, some less depending on jobs and workflow management.

2. Available to work outside of usual hours

3. Right to work in NZ

4. Full and current NZ Drivers License

5. Police check

6. Experience within the construction industry would be an advantage but is not essential
