About the role

Asset Testing and Certification Ltd (ATCL) is

an IANZ-accredited inspection body with operations in multiple locations across

New Zealand.

We are looking for an

experienced Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Technician with ISO9712 certifications

(or ability to obtain it) for our Hamilton branch. This is a permanent role

which requires a minimum of 40 hours per week of work. Work days are Monday to

Friday.

Responsibilities and duties include:

  • Perform NDT Inspections
  • Prepare reports in accordance with company requirements and standards
  • Participate in internal and external audits
  • Participate in maintaining compliance with ISO17020 requirements
  • Enforce and adhere to OH&S regulations

Experience & attributes we are looking

for:

  • 3+ years of NDT inspection or a relevant Level 4 qualification
  • Current certification (or ability to obtain) in all or some of the following Level 2 - ISO9712 qualifications: RT2, MT2, PT2, ET2, PAUT
  • Excellent English communication
  • Computer literate - Technical report writing
  • Willing to travel locally and regionally to complete jobs at client sites
  • Ability to supervise projects and communicate with the clients

  • Valid NZ Driver's Licence or ability to obtain one
