Service Technician (Electrical)

We employ Engineering Apprentices right across New Zealand. ATNZ are the largest employer of Engineering Apprentices in the country. We have been operating since 1999 so we know a thing or two about training the engineers of the future. We have almost 400 apprentices on our books right now and at any time we are looking for dozens more right across New Zealand. As a non profit organisation, we really care about our apprentices. We place them with host companies where they learn on the job, getting paid as they go. Each apprentice is placed with an ATNZ Account Manager who acts as a mentor, helping them get through their online learning (about three hours a week) and block courses. This is why the completion rate of our apprentices is significantly higher than for non ATNZ engineering apprentices. Our Account Managers were all apprentices themselves so they know what it takes to succeed. We don't expect our apprentices to have experience when they join us. We can teach the skills. We want to talk to people who have a great attitude, like making and fixing things and want to learn a trade to set themselves up for the future. If that sounds like you, we should talk.
