Oilcon specialises in supplying, installing, servicing and maintaining fuel storage tanks and associated equipment for service stations, commercial sites and road tankers. The customer base is well established and spans the Northland region from Warkworth to Waitiki Landing.

We are looking for an additional service technician to carry out both mechanical and electrical field service work and/or installations and workshop service tasks including fuel truck maintenance and fuel tank servicing.

To be the ideal candidate for this role you will:

1. Preferably be trade qualified. However all those with a broad range of practical hands-on experience in general engineering/fitting will certainly be considered

2. Have a basic electrical understanding (EST at least) considered a definite advantage

3. Be willing and flexible to undertake a varied range of tasks across a range of locations

4. Be a proven problem solver and technical trouble-shooter

5. Happily work on your own or as part of a small team

6. Be an effective and clear communicator in customer-facing situations

7. Be willing to be part of the shared on-call roster

8. Hold a full clean NZ Drivers Licence
