Geneva Painting has grown over the last 15 years to become one of Northland’s largest most well-established painting businesses. We are excited about our growth and further expansion and now have a new and unique opportunity for a Painting Foreman/Manager.

Our work is extensive, we have completed hundreds of new and repaint residential, commercial, and industrial projects working on some high-end projects. For the right applicant, this role has the potential to develop more into a business management role with business prospects as part of our succession plan.

We have two roles. One based in Whangarei and one in stunning Kerikeri, our location is known as the gateway to the Bay of Islands. For those who love the outdoors, fishing, and nature. This position provides both a fantastic lifestyle and career opportunity for a painter.

Key responsibilities include: 

• Executing painting projects to meet specifications and deadlines, ensuring a smooth transition from concept to completion.
• Tackling challenges head-on and resolving any project-related issues with savvy problem-solving skills.
• Leading and supervising our team to uphold our standards of quality and efficiency, while also finding time to enjoy the natural beauty that surrounds us.
• Inspiring and guiding our painters, including mentoring apprentices, to develop their skills further.
• Engaging with customers to provide updates on project progress, manage expectations, and navigate any concerns, all while fostering strong community ties.
• Coordinating logistics for materials, transport, and equipment, streamlining operations to maximize time spent in the great outdoors.

As the role evolves, responsibilities will expand to include operational management, job estimation, and strategic planning, offering a chance to shape the future of our business while maintaining a lifestyle rooted in outdoor passions.
