In 1997 Tauranga electrician Graham Hockly, and builder-business partner David Mansel formed Generation Homes. Their partnership was forged on trust, an ethic of hard work, quality workmanship, integrity and providing value for money. Those ethics are still as strong within the company as they were in 1997, and are the bedrock to our success.
Those staunch values have earned us a reputation as a company to be trusted. Upholding that reputation is something every member of our team takes very seriously.
Today Generation Homes has grown to become one of New Zealand’s top 10 residential construction companies by volume.
We believe building doesn’t need to be a stressful, time-consuming exercise where costs keep mounting. We have created and implemented simple, streamlined processes.
We pay strict attention to quality control and negating price variations. We know our people – customers, joint venture partners, employees, suppliers and contractors – are our greatest asset.
We focus on listening, removing potential frustrations and exceeding expectations.
Every one of our customers enjoys the security of a fixed-price contract and can watch their new home being delivered according to an individually tailored building schedule.
There's also the opportunity to add their personal touch and get design advice from our experts - be it a vibrant kitchen splashback or designer wallpaper in the bedrooms.
After more than 20 years of continual refinement we believe Generation Homes still leads the competition in efficiency, quality and speed to market.
“Their homes are well built, compact but spacious, no wasted space. Really nice to deal with, they also have awesome project managers that look after their builds from start to finish”- Lynn Kitchen
